Curbside Contactless Delivery means books and other items can be ordered by phone (610-583-0593), by email (RidleyLibrary100@gmail.com) or online (ridleylibrary.org) form. We will collect your items and deliver them to you outside the front door of the building. When you are in the parking lot you can call 610-583-0593 and our staff will bring out your items to the table in front of our door.
The library building will be closed to patrons at this time.
Books and other items MUST be returned to our book drop near the front entrance. All materials are then quarantined for 4 days before they are put back into circulation.
Please continue to use our outside book drops for ALL returns. That includes board games (that are able to fit), cake pans, Hotspots, museum passes, Rokus and Kindles. Library of Things items and larger board games or cake pans should be returned to the outside table in front of our door. Please notify us by calling 610-583-0593 before returning those materials.
Keep in mind that all returned materials will be removed from your account after the quarantine process, which at this time is 4 days. No fines will accrue for most items during this time period.
Hotspots will be available for 3 week check out periods with a cost of $25. At this time we can only accept cash in an exact amount. Any Hotspot not returned after 3 weeks will be shut off. Fines will be $3/day for Hotspots.
Notary services will be conducted by APPOINTMENT ONLY. Please call 610-583-0593 to schedule your appointment during our open curbside pick-up hours. All transactions are $5 EXACT CASH.
We will still have many online events and programs during the upcoming months. Please check our Facebook Events page or www.ridleylibrary.org for a full list of events and programs. We will be available for Reference questions online (firstname.lastname@example.org), or over the phone.
At this time we CANNOT accept any book donations for the book sale. Once we are able to safely accept donations, we will let you know!
